We have been the forefront of vending machine business within Namibia, soon after catering and serving banks, universities and parastatals in vending services such as hot or cold beverage machines, water and snack products and services
Food & Beverage
In 2016 Umbuso ventured into the food and beverage space of hospitality. The experience gained has made us setup a fully fledged restaurant, pub & grill and a cafe. Street Cuisine, Tipsy Rabbit Hole, and Boxx Cafe, respectively. We have mastered the catering industry for big or small occasions.
Financial Services & Technology
Umbuso Financial Services aims to serve the under served, and also those that no longer need the conventional form of funding. We, under the Chelete Capital flagship tend to revolutionize the finance space. We offer all forms of non banking financial services.
Investments
The directors of Umbuso with their zeal for entreprenurship, have embarked on several investments to employ, innovate and change the staus quo of many industries. Umbuso has invested in the educational sector starting Waka Educational Group (Waka Academy, a private school in Windhoek CBD), as well as cleaning and car washing/disinfectant services, namely Plaza Carwash.

We approach businesses very strategically but with various risk factors to be considered. Once project has been identified we take action almost immediately. With resources we have as investors, entrepreneurs on the ground. We make it happen whether the project is a miss or a hit.

Umuso seeks opportunity where others believe there are none. We assess proposals or we have quick internal assesments on what can be a a MVP (Minimal Viable Product) with least cost implications.

The idea is for sustainability and automation in most business cases. After research and due diligence, we setup systems and procedures to make sailing the ship smoother and more efficient.

Where Are Your Offices ?
We primarily operate from our various outlets. Mainly @Parkside, 130 Independence Avenue, Windhoek. However our administrative office is found in Garten Street, Windhoek.
What Does Umbuso Do ?
We are a group of companies. Initially established as a vending and convenience service business. We have branched out for sustainability and diversity of our portfolio.
Is Umbuso a Namibian company ?
The company was founded within the Namibian borders. The owners are also all local. However some of the business units have other partners. The company is 100% Namibian. The name is Sesotho, meaning Kingdom.
Are there Vacancies/Jobs ?
We do not believe in jobs as a means to an end. We strive to have our employees believe in what they do. We always have room for those who have value to offer for a greater cause.
